Shadows

She comes in through the door filled with fabulous words
Her charms are not exactly what they may seem,
Tho' she banter and blush, is she?

Surely, a friend would not lie or deceive, would she?

Seasons come and seasons go
Or at least we are told they follow an order,
Of some sort, set in motion by the ancients
Meekly, we listen and obey...

This poem has a rich imagery flowing smoothly in rhytmic cadence. The tone sends out a cloud of darkness in well crafted words and phrases that surely reflect that all is not well in the love/romance department as evident by words spoken by the persona in this poem. The creativity of this poetess is fantastic for her talent for designing true to life romatic poem such as this one is amazingly beautiful. Truly this is a great write and I found much pleasure in reading the poem. Thanks for sharing your artistry.
